My oldest rugrat never ceases to amaze me. Tonight he walked into the county board of education and walked back out the County Spelling Bee Champion. He spelled "spurious" to win. This time he was going up against 7 other elementary school students and 2 middle schoolers, one of which is an 8th grader.
Next stop on the Spelling Bee circuit? Louisville, KY on March 14th for the Kentucky Derby Festival Spelling Bee, where the winner takes home a Grand Prize of $5000!!!
